This year's Daytona Home and Garden Show was a huge success! Volusia Firefighter Charities raised almost $1000 that will go towards all kinds of good causes in our community! On May 14th, 2011 - The Volusia County Professional Firefighters Association; through on-site fundraising, online fundraising and the support of the Florida Salutes Firefighters Tag Fund; raised over $5000 in the FIGHT against cancer. The Relay for Life in Deland was a huge success once again. Thank you for all of your support and a special thank you to Municipal Fire Equipment (for their donation of a 32" Flat Screen Television) and the Hall Family (for all the great food.)
2011 MS Mud Runs - Your Volusia County Firefighters raised over $1100 for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society; for funding research and treatment of Multiple Sclerosis. The Mud Runs are a 6.5 mile military style obstacle course, through the MUD! Job well done!
